- I will supply water, if you want any other beverages, please bring them and we can keep them cold in my ice chest.
- Snacks, if you want energy bars or snacks for a midday snack.
- I suggest a plastic Ziplock bag for your wallet, etc. We can store them in dash of my boat.
- Sunglasses or regular glasses, if you look backwards in boat ride they may blow off, and and from my experience they don't float. Also, I have had fish jump and knock them off. Suggest you bring a strap.
- Since we leave early in the morning if you want coffee, please bring it with a lid, the boat ride can be a bit bouncy.
- Suggest long pants or chest waders, in case of jellyfish (which are rare). Light weight pants are better than jeans which get heavy climbing in and out of the boat.
- Lifejackets: I have them on the boat, if you have one you like bring it.
- Shoes: an old pair of tennis shoes or reef shoes are great. Some of the places we will fish have a mud bottom and we don’t want to have to search for your shoe that pulled off.
- If you want to splurge, I recommend reef wading (fishing boots) and ray guard shields for you legs. This is a great protection from that rare stingray encounter.
- Change of clothing for the ride home.
- Neck gator: I like these since they keep the sun off of your face and ears, totally optional.
- Cooler in your car for your fish.
- I furnish Rods and Reels.
- Have trouble casting? I can work with you on your skills or in the past have cast for people.
- Sun protection
o Please bring sunscreen spray or lotion
o A Hat, if possible one with a strap for the boat ride
o If you are sensitive to the sun, bring long sleeve shirt or any light fishing shirt.
o Sunglasses, if they are polarized, you can see through the glare on top of the water.
- In the spring or fall it can be cool on the boat ride out before sunrise, so you should bring a light jacket.
